I turn up at the test centre and hand over my keys. Then I wait for them to find something I haven't thought of. I imagine it's like the accused waiting for the jury to return with their decision.... This time I needn't have worried, just like last year. It passed with no advisories and the young MOT tester even offered to buy it if I ever decided to sell the car (which is a first for me). I had to let him down saying that was never going to happen. Another year's happy motoring.
