Water level indicator light
Hello all,
I am new to this community and have previously found so much useful information here for repairs, however I have an issue I cant find a historical thread about.....so I am posting for the first time. I have a C70 2004 she is aging and I spend more and more time nursing her. I changed the water expansion tank and that triggered the low water level light to light on the dash, after reading a few posts I though this must be water level sensor. I have changed this and the light remained illuminated. I have since unplugged the sensor to check the connection and this seems to be ok. I connected the sensor and when the car came up to temperature and "click" noise stated from behind the driver side headlight area (I think). The sound is "click hummm click" a break for a few seconds then "click hummm click" and this continues. Could this be the thermostat or something? only seems to make the noise when the water level sensor is connected? water temperature seems to be ok on the dash? This one has me stumped any help welcome, thanks in advance. Ashley |
