In VOC for a said trip (Trip Details) A to B. I get the Route, and Graphs for, Speed, MPG, mi + K/Wh and - K/Wh if I tap on the graph, it show that position on the map.

Mine is only 4.3.8 on android 8.1 and there is no update available, has anyone got a newer version on android.?

This appears to me to have been functionality only available to T8 equipped cars.

Weird. I can't think of any reason why trip logging should be different on a T8.

Just a little tip for those that have not used it, in Google maps setting there is a tab name "your time line" if you activate it it shows you all your trips you have made while carrying your phone.
You can scroll back on the calendar to see your every day trips, although not in greatest detail it does show a record of all your trips. You can use this on any device to see your trips. I am assuming it is recording them by your phone. I use android so not sure if iOS works the same but can't see why not.

I used to have the route on VoC when I first bought the car a year ago but after an update I lost it. My personal view is that it has to do with security and data protection issues, so they just give you at the application only A to B instead of the whole route, although the car most probably records the toute

Detailed A to B VOC route info was available on my XC90 T8 for a few months when new (2017 - early 2018) but now has reverted to lower functionality. Samsung Galaxy S7, Android 8.0.0, VOC app v.4.3.8. My phone has the setting in Google which tracks its location so I don't think that is influential to VOC.

I can only imagine that Volvo has taken the facility out of newer versions.

I only got my XC60 T8 in December and the VOC app shows the full route details of any trip in Google maps on both my personal iPhone and work Android phone.

This is a NL market car in case that makes any difference.

I have just seen this on the Volvo website:

Driving journal
If the driving journal is activated in the Volvo On Call service, the data relating to trips is stored in Volvo's cloud for 100 days and then deleted. If you have a hybrid/Twin Engine model, data is also stored for the route. The driving journal for petrol and diesel cars only contains the start and finish positions for trips. If you deactivate the driving journal service, no data relating to your trips will be collected and any data collected will be deleted.

So route data is only available for Hybrid models, others just get start and finish.
