Default Finding 1989 Volvo 740 GLE sold by Copart 18/01/24

Hi all, I'm trying to track down the new owner of my silver Volvo 740 (reg number F25 SAY) that was mistakenly sold by Copart from their East Kilbride yard on January 18th 2024. It was deemed a Cat S collision after someone veered into my lane while driving.

I wanted to buy it back from my insurance, and throughout the accident claim, they told me at several times that I could buy it back, but they are now telling me they accidentally salvaged it over a month ago (but still claimed I could buy it back after it had already been sold to someone else).

I am hoping the new owner sees this post, as I would still like to try to buy the car back, or at least recover the voltage gauge that was in the instrument cluster, as that gauge holds sentimental value. In the case that the new owner does not want to sell the car back to me, I still have all the interior trim bits that they may want, that were on the car previously. I didn't get the chance to put them all back in before I was crashed into.

Thank you.
