Jumping on the bandwagon; I've got a 1988 740GLE estate that I'm selling early next year. I've got a few little jobs to do before then, but it'll be a fairly sensible price. Keep in touch if you're interested.

Could be as simple as fuel pump relay on these couldn't it. It looks tatty but i think it just needs a good day spending on it but as you say, its a chance. Be interesting to see what it goes for, but i wont be bidding. i think even a tatty one will go for more than my budget nowadays!
