Smile whats the best alloy wheel for the s40?

I have the 16inch medula (sp) alloys for my s40 and they really dont look good on the car - not that the design isnt good its just 16inch wheels look really small and weedy on the car and from what ive seen the 17/18inch wheels on the car make it look a whole different prospect.

I am looking at getting the 18inch 5 spoke wheel or the medusa wheel and my dealer has both on offer - does anyone agree they make a big difference to the car, and more so - do they make a big difference to the ride quality with the lower profiled tyres?

I have the 18" Medusas on mine....they're great looking wheels, but be prepared for a shock when the tyres need replacing...cheapest I could get after a lot of searching was £140 each.

I'm a Medusa man myself.

Aftermarket should easily be possible to go upto 19s, the bigger the metal and smaller the rubber the better!

I had a small collision a while back resulting in one Medusa wheel being replaced - £500 each - the mechanic couldn't believe it. If you want them you may have to pay a fair bit for them...

Will the 18'' medusa fit ok on a 1.6s, are the wheel bolts the same ? Thanks.
