Default Parts for S40

Is it just me, or is tricky to get hold of parts for the S40?

Neither GSF or www.partsforvolvos.co.uk have many parts for the new model S40. They all list tonnes of parts for the older style but not for the newer.

I was just interested in pricing up a new clutch / friction plate and don't really want to keep phoning the dealer to get quotes. (Would also be good to compare dealer prices to others.)

Does anyone have any good parts suppliers that I could try?

Hi,
I am the South East Area Sales Manager for Mintex Friction (TMD), i have spent nearly 25 years in the motor trade, 18 of which i spent running motor factors. Most areas have a very good factor, where are you situated in the UK, im sure i can recommend a good factor for you to try
regards

Hi
Try SES Autoparts (aka Southern Exhaust Supplies), i cant give you a contact name as i deal with Mark Rigler, one of their directors. They are a good company who should look after you and your requirements
