Might be worth a punt to the Stockton Volvo dealership? Plus the German & Swedish bunch in Newcastle, etc etc? It's only a phone cal or an email or 2.
But I know what you mean. Especially in "this financial climate"... blah blah blah! It's never "Oh yes, it's a boom time for us right now, how much would you need?". If only...................

Right everyone lets see if we can get this off the ground.
Ive had a tour of the site and it seems pretty good. We would have sole use of the racecourse on the Saturday. There is an rea in the centre of the track where we could Camp, and poss BBQ, it has a bar WCs, and a kids playground.
I,m thinking along the lines of a Friday evening arrival, and Saturday for a Concourse, and some kind of a competition or two.
There will also be the big car boot sale on the Sunday, but we would have to be away before midday.
I really need you to spread the word, ive been in touch with the local dealer, and we will see on that one.
As we have Camping folks from further afield can come.
Replies please, time is ticking.

Sounds like a good idea....as for sponsorship, great if Volvo was involved but i think the 'independants' or 'Volvo specialists' would be a better idea as i'm sure in the current climate they'd be more up for the exposure. Got my car booked in at Volmech in Stockton on Wed...i'll drop a subtle hint if you guys think its a good idea?

Yep, site will take Caravans ( I have one ), i,m hoping to have electric on site, and there are water taps etc.

If this event happens I would be interested as long as it is ok to bring one or more of my kids to camp.

Yes absaloutely, my plan is, if numbers allow to only charge for Adults, and as i said there is a kids play area in the camping arena.
