If its seaton carew than that might count me out, with petrol rising all the time it might be hard to justify a 230 mile round trip for a bag of chips. northalleton or surrounding area might be doable

Well how's about we aim for somewhere down near Northallerton/Thirsk area, must be a decent place down there that does chish and fip's well. That's only about 30 minutes from my home so Thrisk area is fine for me, quick zip down the a19 or a1 and I'm there.

Yep theres a nice chippy just at the edge of the town centre, but beware parking on a Saturday in Northallerton is a bit tight, although outside the chippy is free parking but theres normally only about one or two spaces. (experience from the better half dragging me shopping down there).

Sunderland folk are definitely welcome as far as Yorkshire is concerned.

i have been court out a couple of times with that lol

and to be honest i think a chippy in a small town out the way might be better for parking because i really dont want to have to do loads of laps to find a space i might get done for disdurbing the peace to be fair lol
