Default Ecu T4

Hello everyone, I have a doubt. Is the ecu of the Volvo S40 T4 from the year 2000 onwards compatible with my Volvo S40 T4 from the year 98?

NO , the later ones have variable cam timing that is just one of a few differences .. ...

PH1 T4 has Siemens EMS2000 ECU. As far as I know, it is quite difficult to tune. I have been told that EPROM cannot be programed in the ECU, but should be taken out (de-soldered?) and programed separately in EPROM programator. I know it can be done, but obviously people who know how to do it are not willing to share :-(

B4194T and B4194T2 have different pinout as they use different sensors.
