Argg, missed this by quite some time

Long shot, but I don't suppose anyone has a spare one of these knocking about/available to buy?

Default Resurrection of thread

I've just built one, using GPL1968's helpful circuit diagram, and am willing to produce more subject to demand (minimum of 5 orders). The cost will be around £20 each including P&P and they'll be supplied with an approximately 1yard (I'm resolutely imperial on most measurements) of lead between the box and the OBD plug.

Either PM me or respond to this thread if you're interested.

Lead time will be approximately 1 week from receipt of money if the exercise goes ahead.

Very interested.

Please put me down for one

EDIT: Might be worth posting this in the 'main' 700/900 section as I'm guessing most folk won't look in the 'wanted' section unless they have something they're trying to sell....

Very interested too, for my 1996 940 LPT. Is the little plug connector located on the passenger side centre console for the OBD code reader? My plug is much smaller, looks like RJ45. See picture. Take it not compatible?

If it's compatible and you do get five orders, I'll buy one!

Thanks. James

^Your OBD2 port should be under your armrest in the storage area covered by a small pop off cover...

Not sure what that is for. It might be for an old mobile phone, do you have an aftermarket aerial on the car?

Either way, if your car is post 1995 and has the OBD2 socket under a rectangular cover in the base of the centre armrest cubby (the one at the front) then it should work.

I believe it will also work for post 1995 960/S90/V90 cars.

^Just as I thought

So that's two out of the five needed.

Is it time to post this on the main 700/900 board yet?

So we're up to three out of the five needed to make the order all systems go!

Two more takers required

Thanks both. Found it, as you say under the storage area under the cover.

The other connector must of been for a vodaphone phone as you say as have the external ariel still on the boot glass. You learn something new every day!

In that case count me in!
