Driveshafts and cv joint sizes

hi, looking for a bit of advice, please.

changing the nearside (left) outer cv joint on a '97 s70 auto 2.5 na.

removed the joint from the shaft but the replacement cv joint's internal diameter is too large.

i take it that there a difference in the driveshaft diameter between manual / turbo cars and automatic na cars and i've been sent the manual or turbo version?

i have access to a spares car (a '97 s70 manual 2.5 na).

question is, if i pull the complete drive shaft from the manual na spares car will it fit into the auto na car?

the two cars in question have the hub nut fitting rather than the bolt fitting.

Hi I have a complete drive shaft from a volvo s70 2.5 20v auto. Donor car it came from had done 65000 miles. part number p9163593. If you are interested get in touch. I am in fife.
