Volvo 850 V70 2.5 TDi D5252T ECU Brain. Bosch 0281001592 - MSA 15.7

ECU came out of a 1998 Volvo V70 2.5 TDi D5252T

This ECU is for cars which have an analogue Bosch MAF sensor (the one with the sqaure box beside the air filter box, as opposed to the later digital MAF sensors)

This would be an ideal purchase if you wanted to map your ECU, so that you have the standard one and a mapped one also.

Will check my black badge manual tdi and see if the same as would be a handy spare. Isn't the immi3etc linked to the original ecu though ??

Hello John

Sorry, I'm not sure what immi3 is, but as far as I know this is the main ECU for these cars.

It's definitely the part which gets ported and mapped.

I think he meant immobiliser.

No immobiliser issues as long as the 0281xxx number is the same.

Yep should have read immobiliser but phone decided otherwise lol. I always thought it was coded individually on the each car to its ecu ?

What about cruise as mine hasn't got it but would like it - volvo want £300 + for the software to activate it 🤔😬😠 If I got an ecu from a car that has it would it then work ??
