fuel hose
Hi,here is a pic' of the fuel hoses I replaced after only about one year!
Recommendation please for some quality replacements which would hopefully last a bit longer. I know that the cracks are only on the outside but how long before they would have split completely? One fire in a car is enough for me. Army, must have had a senior moment

I dont have the info at hand, but there is several types of fuel hose. I recall that there is an uprated hose over and above what is usually sold for fuel injection. I realize you are looking for regular fuel hose, but i would expect that the best hose would be the uprated FI hose.
Ill try to find more info. |

Current best spec hoses should be marked as Ethanol safe. However, you do need to trust the maker so beware of cheap stuff on eBay and the like. F.I. spec means that it is rated for high pressure, probably up to 50psi or so, but that has been around since before ethanol came on the scene.
