ohh !! That's steep Luke. You should try Admiral as I've always found them to be pretty good. My son also found them to be cheapest for his Corsa.

You'll notice a nice drop when you reach 25 Luke, you could probably afford Comprehensive for less than that. In fact, you might even find Comp is cheaper now - insurers take the view if you're willing to shell-out for Comp you're being responsible and reward you with better premiums. Might be worth getting a quote for comp when renewal comes up with that in mind.

Admiral wanted £700 something sadly, I'm with first central now.

I did get a quote for comprehensive and the one came out at £350 but the reviews said the company was awful! So I thought better of it. I can't wait for it to come down a decent amount.

What company was it Luke???

I wasn't going to mention it but First Central don't (or at least didn't) have great reviews when i was with them about 9-10 years ago.

Could I suggest you try Chris Knott (VOC chosen insurer) and Direct Line? Both worth a try, but of course your own budget must prevail!

I'm with Christ Knott via the owners' club

I just renewed in January for £333.13 which is maybe a bit steep but includes:

fully comp
£0 voluntary excess, £100 policy excess
European cover
Greenflag breakdown including home start
10,000 miles
Business use
protected no claims
legal aid
£35 tax
£30 broker fee

No on else could come close to that price for that level of cover, cover is actually provided by Zurich.
