Default FAG wheel bearings

Hi I’m not new to the forum but have just joined the XC90 club after years of owning v70s. The reason being that I’m just too old to get in and out of a low car. My question is that I’ve got a noise that is constant with road speed and believe to be a wheel bearing. Has anyone ever heard of FAG as a manufacturer and if so are they any good? They’re priced at around £90.00 so obviously less than the originals.

Go Volvo original and buy once only.

This forum has many threads of people who buy cheap wheel bearings and replace them within 12 months because they are not as good as original Volvo.
And they all regret buying cheap.

So learn from them....

I agree with the others that original Volvo parts are of the highest quality, but FAG and SKF bearings are both premium quality brands that should be every bit as good.

yes FAG and SKF are good brands , VOlvVO started the FAG brand way back !
what I was saying is that there are a number of different qualities available even from the well known brands , some bearings don't need to be top quality , maybe used for light duty work so costs can be cut with the quality and clearances etc .
