Load of s£it in my opinion! If I hire a car abroad I don't have to put a sticker on it so why should I if I use my own car abroad? Promote racism?
No flags or emblems on plates in Northern Ireland and with good reason too.

Same here, got a set of stick on GB/ Union flag stickers from UKIP to cover them up. I guess remainers could just blank out one of the stars after brexit so as not to offend the EUSSR too much .

Took my plain plates off and GB flag plates back on. Metal pressed so look a lot nicer than plastic. When I go to France later, I'll be sure to have a saltire on boot. Usually do anyway but not put one on this car yet.

Firstly, a few comments skirting the 'No Politics' rule so just a friendly reminder.

Scondly, whatever agreement does come in place, you can be sure that the ferry ports and tunnel terminal will soon be selling the necesary bits at a vastly innflated price. Just like they have currently with the current EU stars and French breathalysers. I wouldn't worry about trying to predict it, go with whatever you feel like now and the cross that bridge when it happens.

Just be very aware! Direct Line sent out a comprehensive Q&A list this week including:

Q19 Do I need to do anything with my number plate?
EU GB number plates will no longer be valid. These are plates with a “GB” country identifier (or other UK variations, e.g. Cymru) surrounded by the EU star design. You will need to have a GB (or other UK variation) sticker or a number plate without the EU stars.

I bet you £1 to a pinch of **** that our dear French neighbours will enforce this with gusto as you disembark the ferry/Eurotunnel
