Media Server Help please

Does anyone have a pdf of the Media server owner's manual - or know where I could download it? Part number 31470924 English.

I have found the installation instructions online but not the owner's manual.

I have just had an ex-demo XC90 but had no manuals at all with the car and I cannot figure out how to get the password for the media server to connect the media server app.

First ever post in any forum - I'd be grateful for help!

The full manual is downloaded to Sensus and you can download them free or on an iOS or Android app

I think the only way you are going to get one is to see if Volvo customer services can help you. This manual is only given out with the installation kit. Have searched the US site where normally more manuals are available, but it’s not on there. Good luck with your search

There are a few notes: at the bottom of this regarding requirements, re phone and app. You may also find a few tutorials on youtube.

Thanks - unfortunately that doesn't have the user instructions on it; Youtube nothing so far, either.

Ive had a look, I think your best bet is a call to the dealers, its an unusual accessory/ option so unless one of the techs on here can pull one down for you, the supplying dealer may need a call.

As I understand it, this is really just a hub that you connect all the devices to to share media, so its maybe just that the last dealer set up a password and didn’t write it down, in which case it might need recommissioned over the diagnostic VIDA.

Either that or just keep farting about with it and you may get there.

I have the same problem. The default password from the documentation is: 0987654321 but like probably in your situation the installer changed it. Does anyone know how to reset the password? Volvo has been no help.
