Default PCV / Dipstick

Hi,
My dipstick occasionally blows out on my 1.6 D2. Someone suggested it could maybe be the pcv clogging up. Where is the pcv/filter located.
I have found something on the top of the engine on the rocker cover which I'm sure is the pcv, but can't see a filter. The rubber circular washer in the lid looks to be fine, but I can't see a filter.

Any help appreciated.
