General: V60 CC Towbar

Hello, I’m new to this forum having just got a V60 Cross Country, this may have been answered but I can’t see the wood for trees

Just been quoted £875 for a detachable towbar by the Volvo dealer.
I was wondering what the OEM towbar maker is with a view to source the part independently and have a towbar specialist do the work instead.

I’d still like to be able to get the cover for the scuff plate on the bumper and understand it fits in the tow ball socket to secure it??

is that the older V60 cc 2016 ?
The volvo kit is the best you will get .. the electronics need coding to the car by the dealer anyway .. that's a reasonable price .. the new xc60 is about £1300 inc for the motorised folding hook towbar ..

Beware of independent towbar people they are likely to throw your crash beam away !
