Electrics: - Keyless key package Upgrade

Anyone successfully got this upgrade for a late '19 XC60 ? "upgraded hardware that contains additional theft protection against signal interception. This hardware replaces its predecessor in earlier keys and is upgraded with extra protection to secure your car. " Local dealer not aware of it.

Watford Volvo (Volvo Cars North West London) successfully upgraded the keyless key fobs (for £120 inc. VAT). They actually replaced them and provided a 3rd (waterproof) key in the package. I did have to find the "right person" in Parts that knew about it. Like you most were unaware and it took a couple of months. Good luck, I feel a bit safer now.

Aaron W on the invoice. Dont't recall if this was the same person I spoke to on the phone from the parts dept.

Does this include the remote start and the Key is replaced with a new key with an 'I' for Information?
