240 General: - Tail light lens

Any idea where I can buy a lens for the offside reverse bulb on my 240 estate? It just fell off one day when driving...

I see complete tail light units for sale for £50 but seems crazy to replace the whole unit when I just need a lens.

It would be useful if they were available separately, but I've never seen them. The lenses seem to be permanently glued on.
I have, occasionally, managed to get old units apart in order to salvage a particular lens, but only by sacrificing part of the base unit by careful hacksawing and filing.
Leaving a unit to weather under a hedge for 20 years seems to be the best way of getting them apart.
