Steering: Power: Power steering pump replacement

Hi,

Annoyingly, it appears that not only can you not buy a pump *with* the pulley, but it is *extremely* difficult to get the pulley off the old pump! (Haven't tried, still reading).

Why is this?

I have a complete pump that came from a working car- purchased as a job lot of spares but the above isn't suitable for my 1988 240 model.
Let me know if interested and I will sort some pictures.

(It is the type with the header tank on the pump- not remote)

Attached photos of the pump etc.
Looks to be in descent condition and free running without any funny noise- previous owner sealed the two hose holes.
My mistake in the previous mail- it does use the remote header- I don't know if this is suitable for your car but no problem if you can't use.
