Default Whats your mileage?

Hi all

Seen this done in other sections, basically post up the year, model and engine of your car along with it's current mileage. Let see who's done the most. Not only that you can post up any work you've had done. It might help give us an idea of how reliable our cars are and what age mileage any problems develop.

So

2009 V70 D5 R-Design currently on 95k miles.

Work so far in my ownership (since 6 months ago on 86k miles) is N/S/F wishbone rear hydro bush split and leaking oil, required new wishbone and both rear trailing arm bushes are seperating.

2011 S80 D3, bought July 2012 with 5000 on the clock, now got 32000.

Other than service, only work done is to replace the TV tuner (known fault, dodgy batch from factory).

Nothing exciting to report with mine, which is low mileage. 2009 V70 R-Design 2.0d in silver. Bought early Aug 2012 with 24.5k from Harratts Huddersfield. Now done 35k. My mileage has dropped a lot recently except for occasional site visits and I work in Ireland a bit, so have to fly there. Also regularly use my 1982 Granada at weekends and holidays.

No issues except slightly annoying stutter at 2k revs in third gear (seems common, so probably live with it) and the front n/s suspension makes a slight squeak/tweeting sound when going over bigger bumps that is only heard when the window is open. Volvo have looked at this and it's a bit better.

Very pleased with the car. Bit concerned about TT82's expensive sounding suspension problems - I've had cars with higher mileages without any suspension issues.

I've fitted the current Ixion wheels and some LED bulbs. Good as the 2.0d is, my next one will definatley have a 5 pot engine!

Rick, with mine averaging 24k a year so far - and to be honest it's not gonna get that much lower with me behind the wheel either - it will be one of the main indicators fo how good the build quality is in this model. I have seen a Mk 3 V70 on the Volvo High Mileage club, think it was 160k. Not sure if anybody who post on here has passed 100k yet.

Just passed three years old with 34k on the clock. Not had any problems whatsoever. Just wish the DPF would regenerate like the current Defender though, as I don't use the car for short trips, but then find myself having to take it out for a good run if its not been used for a week or more. Super car to drive though so its not a problem. Although I have to use manual to get it above 1800 rpm in 4th, or I'd be done for speeding if I tried to get above 1800rpm in auto mode. Luckily my other two diesels don't have DPFs.

Not surprised at a suspension problem at 80+K miles given the state of the roads. Other marques have issues at lower mileages, some from as low as 40-50K, but I guess its the type of roads you have to use to as M ways are better than most A roads around here.

Coming up to 4 years old with 56k on the clock, just put it through its second MoT and no pick-ups, no advisories. One thing that does make me wonder is the exhaust readings on the MoT slip are low or "not recorded" because of the DPF. Likewise, with no temp gauge there is no reading recorded for the oil temp. Neither of these is an issue for me but VOSA must be scratching their heads and will soon have to change their test forms to reflect the technology being introduced into modern vehicles.

Just bought 59 plate S80 2.0D SE with 117700 on the clock.

Had it three weeks, now has 118360. Car looks great and sounds fine. Drives like a car with 30k on it. Really pleased with my bargain at £6995.
