Seriously it is like a broken record.

Yes RT Tuning made a mistake and yes without doubt he should have owned up and taken responsibility at a much earlier stage.

So you all made the point on your club pages, but you want to get your voice heard just a little more so you come on to VOC to voice your opinion further.

Listen, not everyone wants to go to MRG, not everyone wants to use a front garden mechanic, people will use who they want to.

I am sure RT Tuning has a great following of customers who will use his services all the time, as the saying goes, you can't please everyone.

P.S It is great that the T5D5 Club helps their members in a time of need. Well done.

Hey, we are looking after fellow VOC members too - after all Greg IS a fully paid up member of the VOC... And bearing in mind Russell thinks it's ok to whore his services and cars all over the interwebs, then I reserve the right to do the same.

I know fine well not everybody wants to use XYZ garage - however you didn't and havent been involved with all the ****e surrounding Volvo Tuning, Adam Weber (Now of Turbo-Tuner / RICA Uk Fame) , Hamish Lindsey (Of HLM), et al. and having watched people with the same approach to life as yourself have it all shut up and hushed up for too long - to the point people were losing tens of thousands, and having no option but to take it quietly.

There are a large number of people within the Volvo Community who will NOT let it be all hushed up anymore, regardless of the person.

FWIW - Maybe you should have a chat with the people who HAVE been ripped off, done over and conned by this trader... Feel free to send me your number and I'll pass it onto them.

Oh, and peoples such as yourseld are the main reason they didn't say anything about problems publically until it was too late....

There's only one broken record.....

Now now, serious, even heated, discussion about issues is one thing, but please refrain from threatening other forum users.

Following discussions amongst the Moderating Team it has been decided that this thread will remain locked.

Greg has made his case, taken RT Mechanics to court and the case was settled out of court. Thus the matter of Greg vs RT mechanics on this issue is now over and so the thread is now over. Further threads on similar topics are welcome, provided they stay calm, dignified and factually accurate (see Forum Rules for details!). The non related arguments have been moved to the Mod Area for reference in order to clean this thread up.

Can I again re-iterate the need to use the 'Report Post' button instead of PM'ing a Moderator? By doing so a report gets sent to ALL the Mods and so stands a greater chance of getting attention. Thanks are due to the many of you who sent me PM's about the direction the thread had taken but I was unable to do anything about it as I had since gone to bed as I tend to get up at 4-5am for work.
