Default V70 Kerb weight

Hi Iv'e tried asking this in the V70 section & thought I would try here as well.

Does anyone know where to find the kerb weight for a V70 2.5 SE turbo with auto box:- The hand book says see Vehicle registration document (V5C) as does the Haynes manual & guess what it's not written anywhere on the V5C.

So does anyone know where to find this info please ??

Cheers
Jim Day

I've lost count of the number of times we've argued on here about the V70 kerbweight. Volvo's data isn't helpful.

So now I know from whattowcar this it is 1787 kg

Thanks for this.

i ask my main dealer they say they dont spec ,as can be so much differance from car to car due to spec options ....so couldn't tell me ... how ever i did take our car to the weight bridge cant remember off hand but can remember looking for our caravan ... trying to stay around 1300/13500 max laden to stay at or under 85% for our car v70 2.5d 2000 can tow 1600 but to keep balance right.... worth remembering if you pull over 100% to go to 1600 as car was around 1460 for instance you must stay within the train weight and must hold a b+e license as you are pulling more than the weight of your car...

Yes in the volvo pocket data book TP 0302037 available from your dealer ..

The V70 Kerb weight is listed at 1410 to 1518 kg with full petrol tank depending on equipment , as yours is a T5 i would go with the upper figure .

Max trailer weight unbraked = 700 kg
and braked=1600 kg ...
