Hiya

7 pin harness: 30681980, approx £20 inc. vat. (as of July 2012)

13 pin harness: 8633887, (not sure of price)

The software is for the fog switch off.
You may need a miniature 5 pin relay for the tow fog to work, any automotive shop.
Also, a standard size 4 pin relay may be required, depending on what you want to work, either reversing lights or 12v accessory.
I will upload pdf's when the forum is fixed.

Many thanks for the part number fella, top man! Would be nice to have the 12v accessory (not bothered re fogs or reversing to be honest). At least with the 7 pin I can hitch up and tow next weekend which is all internal management and the kids need. Will look at the aux 12v at a later date. Many thanks for that!

The forum is still having difficulties uploading files, so if you want the wiring pdf, which shows what wires to swap in the harness plug as to what you want, really easy to do. Just PM me an email address & I will send a pdf to that address.

Can someone please tell me how to find the socket that will plug an play with with my towbar wiring. I have taken out the 2 side panels with the bracket release . The only thing thats floating in there has ECU and ECU assembly numbers on it. There is a board with fuses and it has 2 plugs plugged in and there is a vacant male socket(12 pin)

Not very technical Sorry. Whats the Rem. I must be a bit stupid too as I dont understand this either. From PDf above

 Secure the cable harness to the cable harness behind the battery with tie straps (2) from the kit.
 Connect the routed ground cable to the grounding point (3) behind the battery and tighten the grounding screw securely.
 Detach the trailer module (TRM) from the Velcro fastener on the back side of the plate in front of the fuse holder.
 Plug in the tow bar wiring connectors:
 green (GN) and grey (GR) connectors to the control module.
 black (SB) connector to the fuse holder.
 Reinstall the control module.
 Secure the excess cable with a tie strap from the kit.
