Guys, thought i would offer these on here first before they go on the 'Bay.
I bought these some time back with the intention of fitting them in the 1800. However, seems sacrilege to use them for that purpose. I understand they were fitted to some early four door amazons, please check. They wont fit the 1800(without work!!) Not sure what price as i havent seen a set for a while. PM me with a bid. Im planning on fitting a new garage door and selling some bits to help fund it. Russ |

Russ, as you've found, Photobucket has gone commercial and that's why all Photobucket pictures used in previous posts or anywhere on the net are no longer available. If you have any pictures that are important to you stored in your Photobucket account you are advised to download them back onto your hard drive.
Sounds as if you are describing the Amazon door sills? All Amazon owners know what they are but they rarely get damaged enough to warrant replacing. They do polish up well if that's your style. |

Thanks Derek
Were they standard on all amazons? If they are not rare i may have a go at retrofitting/bastardising them to the 1800. My carpet retainers are shot and whilst i appresciate they are available new these look so much better. Need a bit of work to adapt- has it been done and if so any pics? Russ |

Standard on Amazons, the inner U shaped lip acts as a retainer/guide for the rubber mats.

For some reason im not gettings PMs and loathed to put email addresses on here.
I do like them and they look far better than the naff 1800 ones. Need some work but if i have no contact will look at the work involved. Chance to break out the new TIG toy!! Russ |
