Question Volvo V40 2001 Rear Wiper issue

Hi i recently brought a 2001 V40 and notice the rear wiper does not bend to the window on the top and misses the whole of the upper window ive tried bending the blade to no success. I've tried other blades even brought a new arm but still nothing.

Wanted to try different blades but unfortunate the only type i can use are the Claw type blades.

I wanted to try a flat style blade with a hook connector but i cant seem to find anywhere online that does a wiper arm with that type of connector.

SO i was wondering has any one els had this issue and how did they fix it as in the rain i cant see out of the back window thanks for taking the time to read this

Virtually every V40 suffers this problem - it is the design of the arm not the blade. there is a basic modification you can do to the arm which in effect puts more pressure on the glass. There are numerous threads detailing the mod - just search V40 rear wiper and you should find it.
