The relay is actually inside the CEM unit and is soldered on the PCB board

Location of CEM:

Default Rear wiper relay

My relay box looks exactly like the one in photo,so maybe it is inside the cem.Is it a matter of just plugging a new one in?also the rear wiper was working inermittently & then stopped altogether so i assumed it was the relay.Do you have any idea what else it might be?

I am assuming that you have a CEM with part number 30896698 or 30859700. Possible causes of your problem:
- faulty CEM (failed rear wipers relay)
- faulty wiper motor
- wiring problem

Thanks for that, have tried changing the motor so will have to get wiring checked & then maybe change the cem which hopefully will be straight forward
