1995 940S 2.3 Estate for sale-my own car for 7 years
Just wondering whether anyone out there is looking for a 940S 2.3 estate? I can post some pics if there is interest. I've just bought a V70 so thats the reason for sale. Key points...
Price £1250 ono I bought it in 2010 when the mileage was 62K. Mileage is now 175K. 1 Lady owner before me and the Volvo dealer before her. Its been my main car - in constant use and serviced regularly at Sentinal Volvo in London (AKA Braydons sister company) Pirelli Tyres, exhaust, engine, cambelt all excellent and everything been done to volvo scheduled servicing. Never smoked in and no doggies. Immaculate inside. I am meticulous about my cars and no expense has been spared with receipts to prove. I use a car every day and I do a high mileage so any car I own must be in perfect working order with no issues...so its been very well looked after and heavily pandered to Recent new calipers, discs and pads on the front as one original caliper started sticking. Original Stereo with Volvo 6 disc CD multichanger fitted and works perfectly. I am based in Bedford. Any interest and I'll get some piccies posted Cheers and have a good day all Last edited by woodythelampy; Jun 25th, 2017 at 11:14. Reason: Spelling mistake |

Here we go. A few to start with on a dropbox link. If you want any other views just ask and I will take.
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/xlqjmunfj...C12NKSPua?dl=0 As much information as I can think of here.... Body wise no issues apart from a small bit of laquer peel on the bonnet (Pictured) and a little bubble I touched up on a rear arch (Also pictured). Been like that for years and never got any bigger. MOT-ed til January 2018. Volvo plastic floor trays fitted but I removed them for the pictures so you can see the carpet underneath. Engine bay never steam cleaned on the advice of Braydon themselves ("We don't do it nor do we recommend it"). Drivers side seatbelt plastic latch button has a hole. Again, it happened a few years ago (Probably through UV damage) and has never affected operation or MOT. Easily available from a scrapper if you were bothered by it Registration is pictured so you can check the MOT history online. I paid for one of those Mycarcheck things when I bought it and its HPI clear. Only amusing thing was that is said the colour was changed 2 months after it was registered! I looked into this and there is not a chance on earth it was ever RED!! Looks like the Volvo dealer made a mistake on the form and even a mistake MUST be recorded as a colour change. Obviously engine bay, secret compartments etc are all Factory Silver Sand. Radio works and controls the CD changer fine. Cassette player doesn't work but I have about 5 other head units (All with unlock codes) that I have collected from scrap yards over the years if you ever wanted the joys of tape! Any other questions just ask. I'm actually just east of Bedford so easily accesible from the A1 if you're coming from London Last edited by woodythelampy; Jun 25th, 2017 at 19:26. |
