Default 740 wiring diagrams?

I can't seem to find diagrams for K-jet models. K-jet.org is dead, if it ever had them. The ones on volvowiringdiagrams don't include K-jet as far as I can see. Anyone have a source?

Also try this pdf as well, i had trouble finding anything in the link jor posted - maybe i was looking in the wrong place!

http://www.myvolvolibrary.info/Tech_...Y89_wiring.pdf

Also be aware that the diagrams changed 2 or 3 times before 1989, some parts of it are the same, others not so if your car is pre-1989 be a bit careful.

Thanks. The first page on that pdf might be what I need, although mine is '88. The fuel pump relay wiring is what I'm looking at - I'm converting to LH2.4 so I need to change the fuel system wiring.

I'm planning to stick with the dual pump system, so I think I need to wire it as per normal LH2.4 with the exception of running power to two pumps.

That volvo-tips site has some good information too, just not on 740 k-jet wiring it seems.

Can i ask why you want to change to the LH2.4 system? It's a lot of work to go to for what seems to be very little gain.

Must be BONKERZ ..... + there are differences in the wiring system and he might as well rebuild the looms/replace the lot from some old banger .... makes me laugh.

Similar thoughts crossed my mind Bob - there's no fuel ECU in the K-Jetronic cars for a start so will need the ECU loom, different exhaust manifold for the Lambda sensor, potentially different downpipes, different ignition control system (EZK ECU) and umpteen other different things.

Properly set up, the K-Jet gives good performance, economy and emissions - i've had MoT testers looking for the non-existent cat on K-Jet fueled cars!

I wouldn't change from one to the other if I was keeping the same engine!

I'm converting it to turbo, using my old 940 parts/wiring.

I think if i was doing that i'd still be tempted to get something like this :

http://www.emeraldm3d.com/k6-ecu-info-and-specification

Or just buy a 740/940 Turbo with a blown engine and transplant the one you have.
