Intake manifold coolant-lines bypass question
The story is.... I'm installing a low-mileage engine (35000 miles!!!) and a 14t turbo (with supporting mods) into my 2002 S40. The car is always garaged, and I plan to bypass the intake manifold coolant lines to simplify and clean up under the engine compartment.
The coolant lines) are already looped, and have been for the last three years, and I have a modified PCV with catch-can, so moisture isn't a concern either. The real question is whether instead of looping the lines, can I just cap them off? I'm Not sure if the coolant flow is required for anything critical. Regards, Mark |
