1990 940 TD Estate £250 OVNO

Hi all,

For sale is our dark met blue 940. She is the 2.4 TD (non intercooled) Estate. Manual transmission with working overdrive. 195k otc. The reason for sale is two fold - the head gasket has started to go and we have just bought another car and were only offered £50 part exchange for the Volvo, something I was not impressed about so we ended up keeping the car inplace of the measly £50 we were offered. But now we need the space and the car is not being used just wasting away on my driveway. For a car that is 18 YO it is in very good condition with only a few stonechips to the front end and a small (20p size) dent in the rear arch. A new handbrake cable will be required for the car to pass its next MOT because this one has broken.

All the usual toys - E/windows, PAS, C/locking, Sunroof, Alpine radio cassette, E/H/Mirrors, heated seats etc etc. The car is still MOT'd until mid December so you could (as long as you are insured) legally drive her home even with the HG issues. Recent pads on the front (October/November) and a new clutch was fitted in January reciepts to prove. Cambelt was changed last September

I am looking for £250 OVNO and I am located 5 miles west of Swansea, South Wales PM for any relevant info or pictures you are after

Pressurising the coolant and pushing it out of the weekest part of the system

there you go i feel better now your just to far away or would have had it like a shot and why oh why couldnt you have advatised this 2 months ago i had all there spares even two engines
hope you sell it if i had been on the mainland i would have def had a look at it

If you have no luck selling it I reckon you should get 200 for it over the weighbridge! I wish I had the space, I'd have had it as you're not far from me.
