Smile Anybody else feeling smug running Nokians?

I've made 3 changes in the last 3 months.
  • Had new Nokians fitted to replace the Continentals
  • increased the tyre pressure to 39psi
  • started using the geartronic much more to change gear slightly earlier than in full auto

The result is my average fuel consumption has gone from about 27mpg to just over 30mpg in a complete mix of driving from motorway to daily 6 mile country lane school run.

Thanks to the forum for the tyre advice.

Oh yeah......... and it's snowy outside so the Nokians are even better

Had a new set of Nrvi's fitted for about 2000 miles now and couldn't recommend them highly enough. Grip and ride have been excellent compared to the old conti's.
Also pumped the psi up to 39 and have been getting over 35mpg on a run!
