Hi all I have an intermitant fault on my 2005(my) se d5 emergency brake assist system ..... I get the message "brake assist service required" I have located the sensor which activates the system on Vadis .....has any ever tried to change one is it a simple matter of removing the sensor from the servo and replacing it ? it appears to be just a push fit..... any help would be gratefully recieved

emergency brake assist
I have the same fault. Also when I do an emergency stop the tickover revs go to 1500 rpm until the car is off for 10 minutes or more! Far too many electronic gadgets in these cars! Interested to hear how you get on.
