Radio Problem
Any suggestions? I have a 2005/55 XC90 Executive (185). When listening to the radio at any properly tuned FM station, the front speakers play the music or speech clearly and without crackles, whereas the rear speakers are full of crackles and hiss. I would normally assume this was due to a loose connection to the rear speakers, but the problem is not encountered when listening to CDs. If anyone has a clue as to the explanation, I would be grateful for your help.

I too had this issue but found if you push the audio button (right hand side button) and adjust the Surround and center speaker settings the audio gets better. Failing that, turn it off or to the 3 speaker setting. I do find DPL better on CD's and MiniDiscs only.

I'll certainly try that. Do you think selecting the "factory reset" option on the menu ought to solve the problem?
Thanks for your continued help |

Not too sure but you could give it a go. I would assume you will lose all your stored radio settings so note before resetting.
