Thanks for the links Derek. What a nice car for that money. Also great to put a face to Simon at Brookhouse. Although thought they would have plugged the company better. Also, shame the engine people painted the head black instead of red to match the block.
And what happened to the art of haggeling?? Very limp wristed I have to say.
Ha, that reminds me....

Was good to see Simon and his stores. I have had a few good chats with him over the past few months. Would have recognised that voice. Excellent service from him and recommend him very highly.

i finally got around to sky player and watched the show last night.. very good, i thought. funny how all the things he had to fix, i had/have to fix on mine! lol...

cylinder head/valves
service carbs
fuel guage
sender
leaky boot
front suspension

looks like there is a pattern of wear on 60's volvos, whether they're p1800's or amazons..

love the show.. might be on the look out for a landy now, myself.

Just watched The programme & your P1800 looked fabulous, why was it “sick” on the last day? The car looks like it has just driven out of the showroom, is it a recent restoration? Love the colour also.

Antiques Celebrity Road Show was on tonight, I think the wife has taped it and one of the cars used was a P1800, I'm sure 'E' Reg., could that have been your car. Looked superb. I will check and see what Reg No. was unless she has deleted.
Just checked and not recorded so I will have to search for it!
