1980 Volvo 245DL LPG/Petrol Good condition

Red 1980 Volvo 245 DL for sale. I have had this car for 2.5 years, it has served me well and been a reliable work horse. I have been on many road trips with this car and visited classic car shows. It has been great fun! Reluctantly selling the car due to family circumstances so hoping that it goes to a good home and will be well used for another 10 years. £350.

LPG & petrol for versatility. LPG tank is 30l, I can get 120-160 miles out of the tank depending on the driving conditions.

Full service history available. Has had much work done to the engine, replacement suspension, new wheels and tyres, new battery and alternator, brake pads replaced last year. This will come with a large box of spare parts, including fan belts, windscreen wipers, volvo logos, fuses, light bulbs, 3 spare wheel rims (including tyres), volvo manual.

All the wheels have recently been replaced with the alloys (see photo)

Slight damage to the top of the rear left wheel hub (see photo). The hydraulic supports on the boot will need to be replaced in the future. I have been happily using a stick passed on by the previous owner. Minor rust to the car, no more than you would expect of a car this age. Bodywork is in great condition and the engine is solid. New clutch plates will be required some point over the next 2-3 years.

Great big car, very reliable, cheap to run and handy for day-2-day use or moving things about. I will give it an oil change and full clean inside and out before selling. MOT runs out 6 Dec, tax out 1 Dec. £800 worth of work done on the engine last MOT and only driven 2000 miles since this due to working away a lot this year.
