Thanks for the links Derek. What a nice car for that money. Also great to put a face to Simon at Brookhouse. Although thought they would have plugged the company better. Also, shame the engine people painted the head black instead of red to match the block.

Was good to see Simon and his stores. I have had a few good chats with him over the past few months. Would have recognised that voice. Excellent service from him and recommend him very highly.

i finally got around to sky player and watched the show last night.. very good, i thought. funny how all the things he had to fix, i had/have to fix on mine! lol...
cylinder head/valves service carbs fuel guage sender leaky boot front suspension looks like there is a pattern of wear on 60's volvos, whether they're p1800's or amazons.. love the show.. might be on the look out for a landy now, myself. |

There is alot folk out there find it annoying but not me I have learned alot from watching wheeler dealers over the years i have them all on dvd and sometimes i find myself confused when fixing a car i have had to refer back to the episode of the repair that edd done so i watch it to refresh my memory excellent programme and very helpful i have saved thousands by doing the job myself ie I haven't taken a car to a garage in 5 years and done all the work to pass an mot

Just watched The programme & your P1800 looked fabulous, why was it sick on the last day? The car looks like it has just driven out of the showroom, is it a recent restoration? Love the colour also.

Antiques Celebrity Road Show was on tonight, I think the wife has taped it and one of the cars used was a P1800, I'm sure 'E' Reg., could that have been your car. Looked superb. I will check and see what Reg No. was unless she has deleted.
Just checked and not recorded so I will have to search for it! |
