Default Electrical Issues - Power seat and Windscreen wash.

First Post question: be kind!!
2008 V50

Having a couple of issues, firstly with the drivers power seat. Seems to be an intermittent issue. May have power first time then nothing. Drops memory position functions as well. I have checked the fuse and lifted the seat to quickly check connections and there is nothing obvious.

Maybe related or not, but it seems the windscreen wash pump also fails to operate. Wipers move fine but no fluid. Again this has worked then stops. Almost in line with the seat. Could be a complete red herring!!!!

Is there a shared earth or potential corrosion issue i am missing? Trying not to take it straight to a garage for potentially hours of fault diagnosis if it is an easy fix.

Fingers crossed for a guru out there.
