Default S60 rumble when turning Right.

Hi folks, hope someone can offer a bit of advice.

I have an 04 S60 (D5) - When turning right at around 50 mph I get a very distinct rumbling which sounds like its coming from the front n/s. I was convinced it was a bad bearing so I replaced the hub but the issue persists.

The noise sounds exactly like a bearing that's on its way out, Car drives fine otherwise and all 4 hubs are free spinning with no free play.

Should also mention I replaced both Track rod ends and drop links which were worn but not badly, again made no difference.

Thanks

Did you look at the inner ends of the tie rods? I'm in my third set.
Have you checked the front bush on the lower wishbone arm? The n/s one by the sound of it. Both these bushes are visible from the top with the bonnet open. N/s is a bit trickier with the air filter and so on. If you have a manual transmission, put it in top gear and rock the car back and forth. A few mm is ok, a bad one is fairly obvious.

I had pretty much the same, including replacing a perfectly fine bearing without reason (sucks). Next time I would suspect a bearing, I will turn it by hand before removing the 4 bolts. Turns out, on mine it was simply a tire. Not necessarily a bad tire, just the brand and perhaps the wheel geometry on that side - I'm suspecting the camber setting, or, as mentioned, wear on wishbone bushes or even on the subframe bushes, causes some change in the camber or even caster numbers.
