Default What have I just broken?

Evening all,

While replacing the battery on my V50 this afternoon I managed to lean on this tube and broke the fitting. Hopefully clear on the photo below.

So, can anyone tell me what it does and what it's called so I can get on and order a new one.

Thanks in advance

Ian.

That would be your vaccum pipe for the brake booster.

Stay tuned for a part number....

This is for RIGHT HAND DRIVE (UK etc) vehicles with D4204T (2.0d) engine.

Note there are different hoses depending on Chassis number range (shown as "CH" in the list below)

The Chassis number is the last six digits of your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) with any leading zeros removed. (i.e. 000123 = 123)

Many thanks for the information. VIN ends in 286770 so I guess I need 30778188. I see you are in the trade, would you be able to supply this part?

Thanks again

Ian.

Im afraid not.

Just need to ring Volvo Parts department, give them the part number and your VIN etc and they can double check it, place the order and take payment over the phone and post it to your address.

I wouldn't waste time on ebay etc when there are multiple part revisions.

Thanks again.
