Evening

I'm trying to work out if it is worth spending time on VIDA. Will it enable me to add a towbar module to a 2014 XC70?

I see if the download does not work, there is an option to subscribe to the proper Volvo software - but equally, as a private customer can't work out how?

Thanks in advance..

No you have to be an Authorised volvo repairer to use the software function .

The subscription is for recognised motor vehicle workshops and I believe is for the American Market

Looking into it I think a trade garage can get access in the Uk, but require all sorts of proof. In the US I believe the manufacturers have to offer access to private individuals, but have locked it down to the US pretty comprehensively.

Now looking at Vdash. This is becoming a proper pain.
