30mpg ain't too bad for a mixed driving run. My 2.4 v70 drops well below that when town driving gets involved.

And what mpg did you get around town? Any record lows 😮 32mpg, was that doing 70 on motorway?

My 60 run on lpg but I was getting 24mpg around town. 32mpg was 65mph on real petrol and 29mpg on LPG. The cost of LPG did soften the blow when it came to the cost of fuel.

did you find that you got "slightly" worse mpg on lpg and the "pick up and go" was also slightly down compared to running on petrol as well ?

**nowadays you'd need a caravan converted to lpg tank to get the range to Find a fuel station With LPG ,, it being the least profitable of the fuel options meaning its the one Most are dropping from the line up,,,, go figure Oil companies/fuel station profits are Far more important than "being green"...........

My 60 was Auto so the different in the get up and go was absorbed by the gearbox. The economy differential was 3mpg which was well worth the sacrifice in the saving in fuel.
On the Eco front the emissions were well down. NOx was low, no particulates so the oil hardly discoloured between services. I had a doughnut tank in the spare wheel carrier which gave me circa 230 mile range on a run and 210 miles on combined. A yearly inspection (service) cost £60 so it wasn’t a big cost. Overall, I found LPG well worth it. The BRC LPG system it was running was totally reliable and never a moments trouble in the whole time I owned the car. I’d recommend it every time

Currently in the process of measuring the mpg manually in comparison to what the computer calculates. I'm expecting my usage to be more uneconomical as I've put my foot down a few times and the Mrs has also been driving it 😁

that IMHO is the better mix,, regular petrol tank + lpg tank = decent range when adding the two together,,,

yeps far less "nasty stuff" out the tail pipe ,and far less profit :P for the fuel stations - cant have that then
