Replaced a defective thermostat on the 740, noticed recently that it seemed to be taking a while to warm up and when on the motorway that the temperature gauge would drop, so bought a new stat a few weeks ago in anticipation
Removed the old thermostat to find it not fully closed and putting it in a saucepan of water discovered that it was opening at around 85C instead of the 92C marked on it. Quick run and it seems much better and whacking the heater on full was positively roasting... |

Nothing more satisfying than getting a thermo-nuclear blast of hot air from the heater!
