Default 1.9d power boost box

I know, I know, there's power boxes on Ebay etc. that claim to unleash the beast within the 1.9 diesel engines, usually just a resistor in a box with posh connectors that fools the ECU to over fuel BUT are there any proper boost products on the market for the 2002 V40 diesel?
I'm after a little fun before the clutch goes completely.

so, I bought a very cheap tuning box off Ebay. It is for a 1.9d Renault Laguna and thinking it was the same engine, I plugged it in. Then the car wouldn't start.
Durrrr. Does anyone know if the fuel pressure sensor is a different pinout on a Laguna/V40?

May depend on engine variant, may be that volvo and renault are using a different language for the ecu, so the box is setup to work in 'french' when the car speaks 'swedish', yeah, it might just be a resistor etc but the wiring of the plugs may be different, or not able to work in the different tongue...

well I was kind of thinking the pinout in the sensor may be +/signal/gnd on the one but +/gnd/signal on the other, or something. I'll get my meter out and find out but was hoping someone might just 'know'. :-) It's a long shot.
