Default Disable XC60 door mirrors folding

With the recent cold weather and icy mornings when unlocking my car the mirrors have been really struggling to unfold due to the ice, and I'm worried it's gonna wear the motor out. Is there a way to stop the mirrors from folding in when locking the car?

Mine were frozen solid this morning. I had to pull them out whilst unlocking the car.

There is an option to disable the folding in the My Car settings menu. I usually disable mine at the start of winter but it's not really been that cold so far this year.

I've had to disable mine because the mirrors appeared to be struggling to operate with just a little bit of frost! I first tried blasting silicone oil spray into the mechanism but that didn't help. As said, it's a menu option in the 'my car' section of the infotainment system.

Pathetic, isn't it, especially for a Swedish car. Would be even more annoying if I'd paid extra for a winter pack! The folding mirrors work fine on our Sportage...
