Throttle hesitation
Can you give me any ideas as how to deal with an annoying problem, that is, when I blip the throttle, the engine hesitates for a second then rev's up as normal. This is particularly annoying when you pull away as you have to allow the engine first to hesitate then pick up.
My car is an old 'D' reg 740GL 2.3 manual with a carburettor. Thank you in anticipation. |

RE: Throttle hesitation
Place your query in the correct forum below which is "700 series models". Please read the heading comment before trying to post again as there is a restriction on this forum.
All the best, Peter. |

RE: Throttle hesitation
Sounds like the accelerator pump diaphragm to me, but as Peter says, post in the new forum below, so that more 'expert' people than me can help you, people don't normally look in this forum anymore as its pretty much defunct.
