tbh even if it seems an easy fix you are still taking a gamble and assuming that you know more than the seller,if it was a really easy and cheap fix then why has the seller not fixed before trying to sell.
only my opinion but look for another one, next month is a good time to buy.

The flashing orange lights indicates a gearbox fault I would walk away

Would the PNP switch make the Orange light flashing?

It depends.

A PNP switch can be repaired for a few £, replaced for about £150 (parts only).

But with those warning lights on it will fail an MoT. ABS could be a matter of a new ECU, or a sensor, or a reluctor ring, or simply a bad connection. The Lambda light could mean any one of dozens of faults - without knowing the fault code you are just guessing.

Sounds as though the car has issues. I think you'd be getting into someone else's problems.

I'd walk away.

Jack

In which case, if the MoT is legitimate, he will have to fix the ABS light, as this is a failure. Which means he will have to fix whatever is causing it. This will almost certainly be the same thing that's causing the TRACS light to be on, and it's quite possible that it's also causing the Engine Management light to be on too.

If he does "fix" this, ensure he hasn't just taken the bulb out (which also is an MoT fail) or wired it up to something else to mask the problem.

It all depends on how confident you are at fixing any remaining problems and what the price is - I'd expect it to be pretty cheap with those faults, whether they are serious or not.

CHeers!
